When's the last time you got frustrated because your brain wasn't working?

Have you considered that it might be on strike because you're a bad boss?

It's not your fault! We're not taught how to manage our brains, and it's a big job

Like any working relationship, starting with some appreciation goes a long way

"Hey, you're working really hard and you're juggling a lot! And I bet I haven't given you the best direction so far, and I'm sorry about that. But I'm going to do better, and WE'RE going to do better."

You don't need to know everything about how your brain works, but knowing a little bit can really help grease the wheels and allow you to work with your brain and nervous system instead of working against them
