Did you know it only takes 90 seconds for the hormonal signature of an emotion to move through the body?

It doesn't always feel like that tho - we might feel positive emotions like joy, gratitude and hope pass through us quickly, but very often we can grind to a halt and feel stuck in feelings of frustration, anger, resentment, hopelessness and fear. Why is that?

We get stuck because we resist. We come to a signpost and we don't like what it's saying or where it's pointing, so we sit down and refuse to move. But the sign post isn't going to change on it's own. We have to acknowledge it and keep moving.

Suddenly, like magic, everything changes.
