Building resilience
Too many big dreams start with a plan and end at the first sign of resistance. When we commit to doing something different and then discover our motivation isn't there, we tell ourselves a story about what that means - I'm too lazy, it's too hard, blah blah blah
But what if we treated that resistance as part of the project? Change is hard!
Expect to be unmotivated.
Expect to be disoriented.
Expect mental and physical resistance.
Then, get curious - pretend the resistance is a big boulder...
How big is this boulder?
How are we going to move it?
Where is the leverage point?
Which direction will it shift most easily?
Who can I get to help me?
